From Palisades Toys, who did the Army of Darkness figures:

McFarlane has done small scale aliens and predators but they were unarticulated. Microman did them too but they were expensive imports. I expect these to be in the usual two-packs for around $11-12 each like the Terminator 2 figures.

This makes the 1:18 lines coming from Palisades next year:

Terminator 2
Planet of the Apes
Aliens
Predator

Great time to collect this scale! 1:18 Colonial Marines are a dream come true! Just had a thought, what if they made the commandoes led by Arnold Schwarzennegar? Dream come true.

Heh, neat -- but wasn't Palisades also behind that 1:32 Aliens line that never seemed to get off the ground? I know of one place that had the "swarm packs" of little green army men marines and aliens, but I never saw the playset ANYWHERE.

I like this idea, it sounds fun, but I would want to be able to actually FIND the stuff, too....

What kind of stores were you checking? I saw one of the 1/32 playsets and a bunch of other stuff from that line at Suncoast. They eventually clearanced it and it sold I guess(or they stuck it under something else).

Palisades has very good distribution in the specialty market but they don't get into the big mass market stores except for their Muppets stuff.

Great news! Lets see, a 1:18 Aliens Dropship would be about 8" longer than a Blackhawk, an Aliens APC would be slightly longer than the Bradley but without the turret...its possible...hmmm...

Well Hot toys also have there 4" Colonial Marines coming out soon in there unique Snap fix style they opted to do there AVP range in.

The idea of the dropship & APC are not beyond being customized ourselves though having them made for us would probably be better & easier.
There`s a few Joe vehicles which could make perfect bases for the APC.

All in all the M41 Pulse Rifle with the Terminator Resistance fighter looks awesome in the photo BTW.

I'm not hopeful for vehicles from Palisades. I do hope they do some deluxe things like a powerloader and the Queen.

Well bad news guys, Palisades has gone out of business. Another company has bought some of their licenses and may continue with them so there's still a chance... not holding my breath though.

I'm shameful to admit, but I was looking forward to their Sesame Street line. I am hoping they get released somehow. I must have my Oscar the Grouch!
