When did these go up in value?

Post by B17Fortress » Thu Aug 23, 2012 7:43 pm

I hope this isn't a members auction:

Is it just me, or is this way too much for these? It works out to $25 a figure!

There is a huge trend lately when it comes to BIN on eBay. I see tons of Ultimate Soldier stuff with ridiculous BIN prices. I can see using it on rare items and having a lower starting bid price but flat out BIN’s that are this high just sit there. Kudos to the seller if he rakes in a C-note on these. Its getting harder and harder to find good items priced reasonably on eBay.

Too many non-collectors seeing what some have sold for in the past, I reckon, and thinking that ANY they come across are worth big money. You see it with the last two planes All-Go released - every doofus who went into a Tuesday Morning and saw them bought up a bunch to sell at $45 + shipping when the collectors know they've been reduced. Other stuff as well.

I see that in other categories; some guy has an item he claims not to know much about yet his asking price reveals he suspects more than he says.

Too much for the Platoon figures - $12 would be more like it. Even Walmart couldn't sell them! I got a bunch back in the day, then got a bag full of them from another member as sort of a freebee. I even have a set of carded ones in my reserve.

Yep, too much. I remember passing on these guys for 5$.
So if someone wants to sell me theirs for 5$, I will gladly pay 4$ for them  ;)
