i know several of the guys here have bought planes from Flying Styro. Has anyone got the Ju-88 yet? Just curious about impressions of it, if so. I'm tempted to get it despite its overscaleness.
Would be nice for both as a Battle of Britain bomber and to convert to a Mistel.

Havent bought the ju-88 yet. B-25 was nice, and i did buy the BF-110 but still havent had time to put it together yet, but it is just as nice as the B-25, smooth skin, can't tell it is styrofoam, etc. I think the ju-88 would be worth picking up!

i have no doubts on the quality. I was hoping to see comparison pics of it with 1/18 items to figure out if i could stomach the size difference.

it says WINGSPAN 18m. Which is about 59 feet. FSK's model represents the A-1 version of the 88, which had shorter wings than the later A-6, which had about a 65 foot wingspan, as did all subsequent versions of the 88.

If you click on Data Sheet the scale is 1/13. Wingspan is 1190mm = 46.9 inches.
I'm thinking the 1/13 bit is wrong. Wingspan would be closer to 61" in that case. This plane is more like 1/16-1/17.

if the quoted dimensions are correct, which they probably are, it's 1/15.5 scale. FSK quotes almost all of their models as being 1/13, even though few of them are.

Hmmm......when you look at the length its 1/15.5, but the wingspan is closer to 1/17.
Oh, well, what can you do...
...except build your own?
IRT Shipping
Weight is about 2 lbs, plus say another 2 lbs for the box and crap. What would UPS charge to ship ~4 lbs to the Czech Republic?

shipping for one is about $60, however if you buy 3 you get free shipping on all of them.
It's 1/15.5 in span too, you were probably using the longer span wings of the a-6 to calculate the scale.
