FOV 1:16 figures??

Post by digger » Sat Oct 22, 2005 8:53 am

I believe that is what is in line for Jan. 06. Talk about mixed emotions - I love when companies have enough faith in figure sales to jump in, but it's sad that they will be too big for my tastes. :( Man o man, the possiblities are very cool though - with more size can come more detail, with higher price point can come even more detail, and with the KT out you just know they're going to be Germans!! :P I better not get sucked in by these.... :? :o

Wow, the 1:16 tank community can finally stop using XD figures to fill out the ranks. What say you 1:16 collectors?

Gee, I guess if I forked out the $300 for the 1:16 KT, I would be excited. But 1:16 is just too proprietary.....

Yep, I'm only into XD as accessories for my 1/16th tanks and for the battlefield we set up for our club meets.
So if FOV are releasing 1/16th figs separately, that would be great, but in any case, I won't be ditching my XD, they look quite acceptable at a distance, the way we set them up. But depending on what FOV come out with in terms of regular releases, I may cut back on future XD purchases.

Where did you read that Digger?

If you hop over to the 1:32 side they are discussing the 2006 fov line up. I figured scale figures could really fill a void for you guys. :)

I,ve got the 1st.,issue KT #'r 30 out of 2000 units made, and I was'nt about to buy F.O.V.'s 2nd.,issue just for the "new" tank crewmen either. Now that they are going to make them available next year, I hope they will at least have some "articulation", but you never know.

How tall does 1/16 translate into in inches in a figure? 1/18 is 3.75-4", 1/12 is 6", etc... 5"?
