Motorworks 1/18 Abrams

Post by Threetoughtrucks » Thu Oct 20, 2005 8:55 pm

A new listing on eBay shows a Motorworks RC M1 Abrams. I note no real ID of the manufacturer is visable on the box. Has this Abrams been seen before??

Looks like 21st produced this for the 'toy' market, as its appearance and price reflects.

Notice: that M1 Abrams tank is actually very near to 1/24 scale. Not even close to 1/18 scale.

The package has the wrong scale listed.
I know because I picked one up for my grandson.

HS is correct. That things been around for a while. Waay too small for 1/18. It does say 1/18 on the package but it's not.

Hey guys,
I have them both!
they are smaller scale, like mentioned above more like 1/24 scale.
But they are sure really cool, because they do fire little missiles, and the r/c is pretty cool!
so they can be lots of fun!
plus they got some cool sounds!
HOOAH!
"RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!"

HOOAH!
