Small Scale Military Headquarters

As many of you know I have been on a quest to get Me109E canopies to make custom Me109F's. I have finally gathered all that I needed but what do I do with the Me109E's that have sacrificed so much? Well I have lots of spare parts including canopies and I wanted to share my last one I did as it cam out so well that I like the look of it better than before with the factory glass. Using Apoxie Sculpt I molded the 109G6 canopy to the 109E. It looks great though I know it is historically "fuzzy" but its better than tossing the model, or selling it for scrap While it was in front of me I also filled the screw holes on the bottom and replaced the damaged prop and guns. While the canopy framing is certainly on the "thick" side, the results nevertheless look fantastic and actually more realistic than the stock canopy that came with the Bf-109E tooling
