Small Scale Military Headquarters

Hey Guys,

I have made the T-34/76 and T-34/85. I was to fallow up with the Su-85 tank destroyer but the interest peetered out or was it people's money did the same ?

Anyway , the predecessor to the T-34 was the the BT-7 with Christie's running gear.

The running gear looks to be the same as the T-34 except the track which were a lot narrower. The dish of the wheel was not as deep as well , but easy to change .

It was kind of a cool looking tank that soldiered on throughout the war in ever dwindling numbers.

By the end of the war the Germans used them more than the Russians.





Any interest ?

If you are going to do another full build of soviet armor I would like a T-35

Seems to me the wheels are the only thing that you can use from the T34.Everything else will have to be made.There seems to be a shortage of Russian armor on my red army.Of course i can always buy another t34 from you,but i rather have variety.So if you build this i will be in for one.

I'm kinda leaning towards the axis.........how about a Sturmgeschutz IV

the Hun already has a Stug IV kit.

This russian tank is great looking, but i think there are some better, more profitable projects out there that wouldn't take nearly as long to build. It might be good to get to work on the pile of other projects you've already asked us to take a look at, too! I know a lot of us are anxious for the half track mods, the DAP blackhawk, etc.

Don't forget the simple stuff either. some of us love handing you money, we just can't hand you all of our money. So the small projects need attention too. I think if you produced a German IR night vision set for our tanks, that would sell infinitely better than a project of this scale. Or an accurate mg-34 cupola (compatible with Marauder Inc's mg-34) mount with a removable girtsack or three.

Think of more projects along those lines to get everyone in on the action.

His site isn't really set up for sales. I was supposed to redo it for him, but he was in the middle of a lot of personal issues, obviously. I haven't had the opportunity to reconnect with him again to get that train moving again. He is selling stuff on ebay all the time, however. If you want a specific kit, just go to his website and e-mail him, or check out his ebay username and e-mail him on there. He'll get you whatever you need. The only thing he is really lacking is a full "menu" of his items, but if you ask he probably has it.

A while sago, Gary1930 (I think that was the number) made few very neat additions to existing 21 models. He no longer does these modifications.

Scout Car from a 21C half track
Strumtiger from a 21C Tiger
Judgpanther from a 21C Panther

I have Gary's Scout Car and Strumtiger. The models are nice but limited in that hatches do not open and no hoist or ammo for the Strumtiger and no interior on the Scout Car, just a open box.

Your talents would not be wasted on any of these, or all three, and I believe our forum would be interested, without you going to great length to produce the running gear. You have proved you could make ground up new models but the time involved, the cost and aggravation & wear on you must be considered.

My 2 cents into the mix.

Its the pioneer version from Kursk, do you think you could cast the bridging equipment so I dont have to destroy my late war version making it??

I have all intention of casting the bridging ramps when I start the 250 series.

How about scale thickness tires for 1/18 planes like the Corsair and Thunderbolt? Those would sell.

What is wrong with the stock tires ?
