The parts all come on a single sprue. Wheels, Axle, Body, and Kickstand. The power cord to connect the trailer to the jeep is included and already molded to the body. The trailer hookup works with Gate and 21st Century jeeps though you may need to sand it down a bit to fit perfectly.

Available now, about two weeks to your doorstep:
http://www.shapeways.com/shops/battlegroundtoys

Connects to existing 1:18 jeeps.

Looks great outside! This one was painted with Walmart Krylon camouflage spraypaint and some flat black for the power cable and tires.

Five parts come on single sprue. Assemble with superglue.

Lots of small details..

Wheels roll. Included kickstand can be used to display without jeep.

The Ben Hur was a 1 ton trailer, primarily made of wood. It had several different models but was mostly used for general cargo by half tracks, 3/4 and 1 1/2 Dodges and armored tanks, armored cars.

From Wikipoo, for private use:

"The Ben Hur trailer was nicknamed after its major Manufacturer, the Ben Hur Mfg. Co. although there were many other producers. Its primary purpose was to transport general cargo, but the Signal Corps modified it to carry several different generators.

K-52 generator trailer, 1945, K-52 version was equipped with the PE-95 generator.
the K-63 version was equipped with the PE-99 generator.
the K-63A version was equipped with the PE-197 generator.
the V-15 version was used for the AN/TPQ-2 radar
the M24 version was an ammunition trailer (used with M15 multiple gun motor carriage, auto 37mm, two .50 BMG)
the M25 A-load version carried a 25KW generator for the tire repair truck.
the M25 B-load carried the spares and fuel for the tire repair truck."

Thanks guys. Great question Glider. White Strong and Flexible aka WSF is best for general use. It's a nice balance between price (compared to some of the other options), toy like strength and detail. It's also paint friendly.

As for a Ben Hur, thanks for the feedback. It isn't in the current lineup. I am curious though, would it be so you could tow it behind a WC or would you do something else with it? Or was it more along the lines of, hey you have a MB trailer, why not do a Ben Hur while you're at it..

I ran a poll a while ago and there was lots of interest in the Ben Hur trailer.

I went on the web were your parts are being sold. I was looking for the Panzer IV wheels and could not pull them up.

Are they still available ?

Grunt, as far as I am concerned, I asked to PickelHaube if it was possible to do a Ben Hur trailer for me. He asked here on the forum but it seems I was the only one interested. Now if more guys sudenly realy want one, and I mean realy, then it could be nice to do it. For my part, I am ready to purchase 3 Ben Hur trailer. Maybe even 4.
