NEXT TWIN ENIGINE PLANE IN 1/18

Post by Jnewboy » Sun Jan 29, 2012 6:37 pm

If another is ever made after the P-38, what should it be? all the choices are relatively the same size and so I would assume around the same price to develop any one of them. Please vote on the one you would like to have the most, not what you think would sell the best.

I would love to have an me-110 or a p-61 but I chose a 110. Makes me giddy like a school girl to think one would be possible.

I went with 110 also because it is one of my favorites and they could do so many schemes, daytime and nighttime versions...

yeah an early battle of britian one would be awesome but I would love a white camouflage night fighter. Like the Night Ghost of St. Trond.

What about a ju-88? or is that to big?

My vote is for the ME410 as I have always loved them. Jon is correct about the ME110 as there are many variations possible with it.

B-25 for me. It's got so much going for it with cool features, including turret, bombardier, tail gunner, bombay doors with bombs, opening hatches for pilots, not to mention the early Doolitle version, later versions, and the attack aircraft with big nose guns, and more paint variations than the others, more figures to put in it. Good ol' USAAF bomber.

The P-61, and Mossie are tempting, but the Mitchell wins as a true bomber, with a lot more play features imo, and I want a bomber dang it.

I might have voted for the beautiful looking HE-111 bomber though.

Dang, where are all the limeys at?, come on guys you know a Mosquito would be easier to build and we all know the only person here that could make this happen is watching , and we know that that person  , is planning on taking a break from large projects, well at least planes, for awhile.

I left out the Ju-88 and the He-111 as I thought of them as to big but in reality the B-25 is not far off from them... Another one that should have made the list is the Hs-129 especially the tank killer version with the semi-auto Pak 40 75mm cannon slung underneath 8) Anyway I hope the poll gets lots of votes so we (and the world) can really see what is wanted.

I believe you are right Jim, it would be the cheapest, no large intricate canopy or openings like the B-25 or 110

Forget all those choices. I'd rather have a P-38, but rather one that has a correct landing gear versus 21st' version or a Grumman F7F Tigercat.

Mossie for the win! I would definitely make some ceiling space for that!

Here comes Mossie by a nose, with Mitchell almost neck and neck, and Messershmitt bringing up the rear... it's gonna be a close one folks. :)

Bad ass Black Widow all the way. The other twin birds are cool, but something about the P-61 just does it for me.......and in Carrol "Snuffy" Smith's scheme "Times'A'Wastin" 8) .

Looks like the 110 is tied for the lead. Looks like we will have to turn the mosquito idea into a box of toothpicks.

Voted for the 110 without hesitation. Can just imagine how they would butcher the more complex landing gear on a Mossie to make it retract. The B-25 would be huge and awful expensive. Probably more than the F-18s. A P-61 is nearly as big.
