Paratrooper facepaint Question

You guys know how some 101st paratroops painted their faces like native American Indians before they jumped into Normandy? Well, I have two questions. First, did any 82nd airborne troops do that as well or was it just the 101st? Second, Did they wipe the facepaint off the next day, or continue fighting with it on their faces the next few days of Operation Overlord?

Thanks,

AJ

i am pretty sure it was just a 101st idea and thing. The paint came of very easily and sweated off the first day. It was mostly to psych themselves up for the jump.
