stumbled across this on the net. They have a couple of M113 with TURRET in 1/18 scale. There's also a LAV looking thing but i have no idea of the scale.
Also a pretty good price on some Heng Long 1/16 tanks.

looks like a knock off of the 21c model with added turret, to me.
by the way, it's free shipping worldwide so it's hard to go wrong for $56. Paid with paypal so safe.

seems like i'm having a conversation with myself. Anyway, i've been thinking of buying one of the M113's so i've been examining the pics in greater detail and i've noticed some things.
Like the spacing on the stowage on the sides doesn't match the 21c model. And the drive wheel is at the back instead of the front and the road wheels seem to have little cogs sticking out of them.
And, from the front view, i think the tracks don't roll but are just molded plastic and there are little wheels under the tank that propel it.
But much of it is identical to the 21c model in apperance, so i don't know what's going on. But the detail differences have given me pause and i haven't bought one afterall.

The M113 almost looks like a Vulcan ADA gun. I used to work on those waaaaaay back when I first joined the Army. its one of the variants I had considered asking Pickelhaube to make for the M113 ![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

It would be a good deal if the model was a little less "toy like". I also noted a problem with the tracks, and all the lights appear to be way too large and I don't like the "cannon" and turret, very unlike an American M-113, in my opinion.
Good find, just not for me.

Odd looking things, aren't they. What is that on the rear ramp, a little tank that comes out?

$56 shipped seems like a good deal, but if it arrives and is more a toy than you expected it will take a lot of work to get it up to standards. I'd be concerned about the lack of working tracks and just what the hidden working wheels are and how they look/work.
