I guess you're right. This is probably aimed at kids. What irks me is 21st can do a realistic toy/model, but they chose the cheap way out. The Stuart's pretty good, with very little modification, it can equal many 1/35 Stuart models out there.
Why is this? It seems that if the subject is the Abrams, manufacturers always cheaps out. First BBI, now 21st.
I guess my quest for a large scale Abrams (that doesn't require me to get a loan from a bank!) still goes on. Hell, if 21st did this Abrams right, I wouldn't have minded forking over Tamiya prices for it.

Oh well, back to modifying my Franklin Mint Abrams.
*Note to self* Stop looking at 21st's catalog and think that those pics are the one they are actually going to sell!
