I emailed Dragon about if they were going to continue with their WWII 1:18 line with maybe more articulation. Here's the reply I got from Dragon:
Dear Sir:

Thank you for the interest towards our model kits. We'll continue to expand our model kit product lines. I will pass on your concern to the production department. In the meantime, please stay tuned to our website www.dragon-models.com as we'll post the most current updates. You won't be disappointed!

Regards,

Well, they didn't say 'yes'...but at least they didn't say 'no'.

Clearly a stock response - what is sad is that they don't even have one for figures...they just use the one for their model kits  :?

When I went to the Dragon booth at TF it was similar....I had to explain to the guy what 1:18 was....he was like, "listen punk, we're Dragon; we don't need you"...and he was right.

You're probably right...but what a shame...look what they do for the 12" guys...imagine if they put that effort in 1:18...sigh........

look what they do for the 12" guys..
BIG difference in price point (and therefore potential profit per item)
