Small Scale Military Headquarters

I was flying my Pegasus Bell X-1 around the room and decided to have it come in for a landing. I hadn't put the undercarriage down before. Now that it's down, is there a trick for getting it to go back up or do you just force it? I'm afraid i'm going to wreck it if i just force it.

i believe theres a small piece near the back of the landing gear holding it down you need to pop that over and then they go in
