Is anyone still running your r/c M113? The one I had jammed a gear a few weeks after I bought it, and one track kept falling off, so I returned it to WalMart. Sorry now I didn't just try to repair it. Any problems with yours?

21st's RC stuff was nice for the price, but was hardly high quality. My Panzers and M113 both threw tracks and stuff. Don't have gears jamming though, but I also don't run any of them much, if ever.
Gotta jiggle it...

I used my RC Panzer IV's for customs and pulled the guts out.

All of my 21c R/C items still work pretty well. I don't really run them all that often and then not through that difficult of terrain. I get some track skipping, but not too often... It seems the later Panzers had better quality control than the earlier ones (my S3 one ran better and never had the track-skipping issues). A little care and occasional lubrication seem to go a long ways. Quite frankly, I've found the 21c 1:6 Stuart to be the most durable/powerful of the R/C vehicles (for obvious reasons) and probably the best-engineered.
Still, I always got a kick out of the idea behind the 1:18 R/C vehicles and thought 21c did a good job of incorporating the R/C features into their existing toolings - while still keeping the detail, functionality, and realism of the static model. It would have been great to have seen them expand the line to some of their other WWII and modern armor like an RC Sherman or M2 Bradley

I had too much problems with grass, small stones and sand in the tracks that blocked the mecanism. I needed a working desert M-113 for my pictures, it also rolled too quickly for realistic views. At least, I sold it, willprobably have less problems with a wheeled LAV, but never made it.

I know one grey Panzer I had, it cracked at one of the wheel mounts... I chalked that up to the product's suspect level of quality though, ultimately. It just wasn't designed well, to handle the shock of actual use. I never ran mine too hard though either... It just cracked one day. I got another cheap and never ran it much at all.
