Small Scale Military Headquarters

Can't wait until the first quarter of 2005-bring on the jets! Sounds like the next year is going to be a good one. Does anybody have the list of future releases for the XD planes? It may have been back at Groundpounders forum. I would appreciate an update here.

Well now, there's some information! I might just have to hold off from the new APC to save room for the highly desired Panzer IV; we'll see, however! Its also very good to have a timeframe for the TBM and the F-104. The 104 seems like such an odd choice for a jet. The F-4 or ME-262 would be much more logical! Still, as I look at the 1:72 Matchbox F-104 sitting on my desk, I have to say that I love the clean lines of that fighter! As for the ME-262, I hope we see that next year, as well as an F-86 and Mig-15. This hobby is getting out of control!!

nice to have the Panzer IV confirmed. Boomboom, when you say they're leaving the markings off of german planes in future are you referring to just the swastikas or the iron crosses as well?

Tentative list of future XD planes after the release of the 109G (from memory):

Avenger, F-104, F-86, MiG-15, Me-262, F-4 and a rumour of a 'FW-110' which is most likely an Me-110. Also very likely a FW-190A and still a chance of a Zero.

This is not mentioning repaints of existing types, which are numerous. This plus BBI equals a busy, happy and expensive '05.

Thanks for the update Dave. I don't remember such a bumper crop of planes and tanks since XD first arrived. It will be indeed quite expensive ...........

I agree with the 100% and i think that it would be a great way for us to periodically stay in contact with 21st. Maybe in bbi.

First quarter is certainly sooner than I would have thought for the Pz IV. But, given 21st's past release date slips I'm guessing we'll see it sometime later in the year. I just hope I'm surprised and it shows up on time. I can't wait to get a few of them!
