I bet that's a misprint. I've seen that in 1/32 scale, not 1/18. Bummer.

Yeah that whats i thought too at first but it doesnt look anything like the 1/32 me262 . But if doesnt exist 1/18 me262 then i guess its a missprint :( . But theres a lot on that site that ive never seen before like regular german soldiers and kubelwagen for example

uh.....i don't think it's a misprint guys. Look at the price. There is a 1/18 Me 262 expected by 21c......maybe it's just expected sooner than we thought. Perhaps this retailer is just jumping the gun a bit and it's due out soon...

'neu' is German for 'new'.....

I don't know what's up with the nose gear though.....wonky picture but this may be the first glimpse of the upcoming XD Me 262.

I think the picture is of a 1/32nd ME-262, though the text makes me think of a 1/18 one. I don't remember anyone mentioning a 262 being built though. Does anyone have any ideas?

Kevrut is correct, thats a 21st pro mo pic of a 1/32nd Me-262. At one time you could see this pic on 21st's site. At this point in time the 262 in 1/18th scale is an idea or I should say a protype. I can't find them but I know there were pics of a porto at one of the toy shows on the west coast in 01 or 02. :? I want the Me 262 as bad as the Avenger!

I checked an old interview with Roy Sutherland and he makes no mention of a 1:18 ME-262 but he did promise a 1:18 ME-110 for late this year. I wonder whatever happened with that.

Perhaps TKO you can ask him.

the Me-262 is definitely a go and was slated for this year. It may have been pushed back to next year (go figure) but it's a sure thing.

The Me-110 is a go as well, due next year. As always, we just have to be patient (what's that?).

:D

Not 1/18

That would make the 262 much cheaper than the Spit and 190 if you look at the rest of the site. If you think they are showing the new Me-262 then you would be pleased to see there is a 190 with a sweet new scheme, the Kubel is due to be re-released, as with the Jeep, and there is soon to be new diecast Bradley in Nato colors.... :? Some things may be "prophetic" but others make you scratch your head. The Kubel I could see this year....the 262 on the other hand would be a bit surprising....
Wow....the more I look at that site the more whacky stuff I see.....though a Panther with a bunch of figures would be cool :D That funky new warhawk scheme and new Sherman would be welcome too :P
EDIT: A lot of the pics are obviously not product and I would say that is the case with the 262. This is their pic of the 1/32 222: http://www.kleinserien.de/d/detail.php? ... 3031&h=twe

Not nec.....I have some mixed emotions...I mean, I know people would love to see the Jeep and Kubel again. Question - how are they ever going to re-release the Kubel with a full size fig? Should be interesting....

I've got a lot of close looks at the Me-262 in 1/32 scale... and sorry to say that IS a 1/32 scale one. The porportions of everything match the 1/32 one (including the hinges for the gunbay doors). While I don't have that particular ME-262... I'm pretty confident that's 1/32.

The picture is of a 32x ME-262 prototype. I remember it from GP's old archive. There was also a 21c 1:18 ME-262 prototype from a couple years ago, but there were some concerns about its quality expressed by 21c and it still has not yet materialized into anything we are aware of. Hope to see one next year, though!

I can confirm that 21st views the old 262 mold as insufficent by today standards of detail and amount of moving parts. Last I heard the "swallow" in 1:18 would need to be re-worked. I think that is why it has gone off radar for so long. I think we will see one eventually. I personally would wecome a 262 done up to the degree that the Avenger and P-51 are shaping up to be... even if we have to continue to wait. I think the 262 will be too tempting to pass up once the p-51's start to roll off production lines!

I agree with Tman and TKO... That is a VERY OLD pic of a plane never made, although some say it may eventually be produced in 1/32, although I don't know for sure.. :?

I requested one yesterday to be put out to go along with the Adolph Galland's Messerschmitt and the JV44 Red 3 Focke Wulf as these planes were all connected by Galland and he flew one.
