Re: opinions of Bravo Team US WWII figs
Gear is great... Very cool, very good "value" for the price too. You got a lot.
Sculpts were good, but accuracy is supsect at best. My buddy was into WW2 reenacting, had owned a halftrack mortar carrier, owned practically every small arm from WW2 at one point or another, and he said the FOV figures were dismally inaccurate... I always just sort of piled them up as an OSS team or something sort of BS'd since the gear was mixed a little there.
I love the crispness of the sculpts, and the variety of headsculpts. The gear's great, and for the price I think they're fair. I preferred 21st's figures though, personally.

I'm with JJ. I'd also add that the 'stands' they come with are pretty much worthless as the soldiers tend to fall over unless you stand them upright...even then...

The weapons are visually smaller than their counterparts by XD or BBI.
I agree with holensock that the stands are useless; mine were all warped out of the package.

I'll have to ask my buddy on uniform inaccuracies but he seemed pretty down on them for sure.

Re: opinions of Bravo Team US WWII figs
I'm not a technical expert on WWII uniform components, however, simply compare a picture of a FOV WWII US soldier with, say a BBI or a 21c US soldier and you will see what Jesse means by inaccuracies. Same with the FOV Germans, though those are better figures. For starters, the US helmets aren't quite correct, the color of the outer jacket is off, as are some of the pouches and gear. Never mind the smaller weapons. The gear is neat, however! Headsculpts and articulation are great as well.
But they are available and worth getting for filler figures. I crew vehicles like my 21c WC-63 with them.

they're worth getting but like all FOV figures you got to be careful about not breaking them in the first 10 seconds of having them out of the box. Everyone that I bought needed the hot water treatment.

Re: opinions of Bravo Team US WWII figs
I like the FOV US figures Aferg, just that they aren't totally right. I actulaly like the helmets fine, and they're nice and "deep" too so they sit well on other figure's heads, or on some figs who have a larger head like some 21st figures. I think the rifles, packs, boxes, and other stuff is all pretty great...
The pouches and colors are mostly what my buddy complained about, and he's right. Ironically they sort of match the one Dragon (US NW France I think?) figure though, go figure. I'd expect hyper accuracy out of Dragon stuff but maybe not I guess? He had the big pockets on the pants and stuff...
They're cool, and the headsculpts are great IMO. I think FOV's headsculpts are among the sharpest and most realistic. Sloppy paintjobs, but at this point sloppy paint's to be expected.
And Lancelot's right, you need to hot water them all, because they break easily if you don't. Their waist will seize back up too almost inevitably. I hit the lower torso post with a little WD40 just to keep it moving. Just a wipe of it will do it.
Their germans rock. I wish the color were just a hair darker to match the 21st Nam guys though, as you could swap some rolled up sleeves on them perfectly then. I like that for the guys in the jack boots for a "spring offensive" look, though Our War's doing basically that at some point.

Re: opinions of Bravo Team US WWII figs
i'd forgotten about Dragon. They made late war American troops too, with the longer green jackets. That's what i'm after is that late style of uniform. The Dragon figures have the jackets the proper length too. I think i'll get those instead of the FOV's.

Yea, dragons guys are WAY better!
There gear color is almost spot on. It is hard to get that OD.3 color perfect but they did a good job!
