That's why you need to get in contact with boardmember Jackson. He will make almost any custom decal you need and his prices are very reasonable

well lets see, bbi 109G-2 after shipping is $100
I put in about 40hrs on it so I have to profit at least $300 on it or I am working way under minimum wage (which I dont) so I need a minimum of $400 for it or I happily keep it.
I will list it for $450 as eBay and paypal will steal 12% or $50
PS. Flyboy, its not all decals, only the red shield, some small details and the devils face itself are decals, all the rest is hand painted and stenciling. These decals were not made by Jackson, though his decals are excellent.

Ok guys, here it is, enjoy!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150664890436?ss ... 1558.l2649
This is the first F model I have ever seen in 1/18 that is totally correct, I spent some time on it, some blood sweat and tears and then some more time but it was worth it.

You see those rivets under the cockpit? They are exactly .0000001 mm out of scale. Please fix that unsightly error.

The fuselage cross is slightly too far back and the canopy is still one piece. It should have been modified where the rear section is fixed and only the center part opens. I don't know if this is a flaw with the original model, and it might have been too hard to change but that is what stands out to me.

Thanks, However the fuselage cross is correct, starting two panel lines away from the band and stretching to the band. It would have been nice to alter the canopy in order to open correctly however I was worried about damaging it and decided to not cut the glass for that detail, with the canopy shut it looks correct. I value your opinion and am happy to hear it. Thanks

Thanks Aircobra, I started it thinking I was just going to take off the oil cooling scoops and redo the wheel wells but once that was all done I couldn't just leave the G2 canopy so I started playing with the notion of using a E canopy and adapting it to the body, It was not easy, but I am glad I was able to do it and still have it open and close.

What do you all think about the canopy? do you think it was worth the work to do it like that or do you think leaving the G2 canopy in and maybe adding two little windows would have been fine?

Personally I generally prefer the Battle of Britain or late war defence of the Reich schemes on German fighters, but against that, I've got to say this is a really nice looking scheme which you have done full justice to, and I think its turned out as one of your best works. (well that's my opinion)
I also think you did the right thing by swapping out the canopy, at the very least it's given you one of the easy distinguishers between F and early G
All the best
Sam
