Saw these listed today on JSI's website, surprised there isn't huge discussion going on about them.

I would pick up both of those. Did they release their P-40 and ME-109 repaints yet?

This may be old (i.e. invalid) news because the F-14 "Black Knights" is not listed. The P-40, ME-109, M48 Patton and M4 Sherman that are also listed haven't been released either.

A reliable source told me earlier this year, the JSI F-15 is doubtful because it is "too big".

i'm skeptical too but the J11 has never been mentioned before (it was an SU-27), so perhaps this is new info. I still see that they have the IDF scheme for the F-15. Blunders R Us.

IIRC, these pages have been up on JSI's website for a long time; I don't think there's anything new there indicating these two planes are any more likely than they ever were.

Sorry, but these have been listed since the website went up about two years ago. The J-11 has always been listed as the J-11 on their website. Everyone has been calling it the Su-27 because, well, frankly that is what the J-11 is and more collectors would rather see it in a Russian scheme than a Chinese scheme.

Looks like the same site as two years ago.

If these are ever made, I will be getting at least one of each. Perhaps more.

Would prefer an F-15 in USAF operational scheme, but looks good in Israeli colours as well.

And the J-11 MUST be done as an Su27, in Russian/Ukrainian scheme. No brainer.

Rest assure the JSI 1:18 Sukhoi SU-27/Shenyang J-11 does actually exist but so far only one has been seen displayed.

And nothing at all from JSI/Merit in regards to these aircraft.

Yeah.... I realize that but heck it never gets old posting those pics over and over again. Those two jets are just simply amazing to look at even if they may never see the light of day again. Though I never give up hope either. Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

From what I remember reading in past posts on another forum, I believe The Fighting 1/18th, Merit hinted that JSI was not sure about the F-15 as the best choice in terms of sales so it was basically being put on the shelf for the moment and the J-11/SU-27, if produced, would be a release focused on the Non-US market. Those were hints put out well over a year ago with nothing new being said about them since. At the moment they are facing the same fate as the A-10 prototype(s), eye candy in pictures for many wanting 1/18 scale collectors.

Just a shame..... .

That F-15 is really nice. I like the color scheme, too bad it's on hold.

Damn...I really want these birds, I know everyone has their opinions but I will keep hoping they come out.
