Is there anyone who is currently making WWI 1/18th scale or close...and BBI or 21st century would you guys consider this as a viable market?
I think a whole Richtoffen, Boelke, Richenbacher, Blue Max etc... thing would be very interesting, educational and most of all fun....

Love To See It!
I've posed similar questions a time or two about the same thing regarding this era. I think there is great potential in 1:18 soldiers, armor, planes, and oh yes "Big Bertha" and "The Paris Gun"(I can dream right?)

Metal FT 17
I just added a metal FT-17 to my website. Click on the "new" image on the homepage. It's fully assembled and painted and I estimate it's about 1:18 scale. It might be a good start if someone wants to super detail it and it's perfect for display as it is.

I'm actually "toying" no pun intended with the idea of building a Gillows DR-1 kit it's pretty close to 1/18th and a few others as well. I haven't built those in 30 years. I really would like to change my office into a WWI theme and have a few of these vintage planes duking it out above my head.
So heads up guys I might be dumping some extra 1/18th WWII models soon>(we are considering a move to the Sacramento area in the next few months) I'd keep the few that are really close to my heart and perhaps add some of the new as they are released or pending TKO's information form the 21st century interview<
