I should take a photo of my assembled hanging one tonight. BBI did a nice job with the paint work on this one. The weathering level is about the same as the S1 version - I almost want to say the S1 version has more weathering - but the S2 has some nice details to it. Certainly the engine is painted more realistically on the S2 aircraft and there are smaller painted details on the missiles. I also like the inclusion of the label plates for the landing gear. They are metallic stickers that you have to apply, but they are a nice touch.

I didn't even get a certificate. Below is the issue I have with mine.
The one on the bottom has the circled tab on the wrong side. It should be opposite of where it currently is. No go on this piece.
EDIT: Contacted the mfr and they said they'd ship a replacement piece. Hope this one fits.

Looks good.
Glad to hear about the engine exhaust, and the missiles.
Kind of wish they had painted the intake white on the inside though. And what is up with the black on the outside of the intake?
But for $150, a great model.

I've been resisting the urge to pick one of these up but, naturally, the pics here are pushing my itchy 1/18 finger to go clicking on the old Paypal account. Question: Anyone feel like saving me some shopping time and recommending the best price currently available?

I think my Wolfpack version has the black intake inside and out as well.

It does.
Just wish that they had changed that. An easy fix, and would have made it more accurate.
Minor complaint.

Just got my "Enduring Freedom" F16 from Aiken (thanks, Sally & Dave), and I couldn't be happier (unless maybe I had gotten it for free)...
No need to post pictures, I guess, but it really looks awesome sitting next to my "Wolfpack" F16!
Surprised there aren't more comments on this, but the paint scheme is terrific - New look for the pilot as well (really glad they still supply a pilot).
Here's what I think - Maybe we won't see new tooling from BBI anytime soon, but I'll take repaints of their existing 1/32 & 1/18 scale aircraft all day long when they are as good as this!
For anybody on the "fence" on this one, buy it before it's gone & costs twice as much on EBAY!!!

I've got to ask, has everyone here who has already received their f-16 in the mail been satisfied so far with how it was packaged for shipment? Was the condition of the box with the f-16 printed on it damaged in any way? The reason I'm asking is I just received my Falcon yesterday and it appears they are being shipped without additional protection during shipment. Because of this any damage sustained to the shipping package is also transferred to the printed box carrying the Falcon inside. No bubble wrap nor packing peanuts. So much for having a mint condition box to go along with the Falcon. This was the same problem with both of my F-14 orders too.

I got my F-16 last week, and yes I agree there is not much protection for the model. My box was beat up, but the plane was not damaged. I don't miss those darn ties they use to use, but I can see some people getting this model damaged.

Yeah, I don't really care about the packaging either but since this is a limited edition it matters. If I plan to sell it 10 to 15 years down the road the box will help ensure its value. Even at auctions having the original box in mint to good condition will sometimes fetch a higher price. Plus the jet inside was shifted on its side from the crushing sustained to the box. And the certificate was missing too. The packaging was re-taped presumably by UPS to avoid the contents from falling out.
