A Ray of Hope?

I saw on the 1/32 board that Panache had a new website...Panache is the distributor for Unimax (forces of valor, bravo team etc). So, for some reason, i emailed them and asked why Unimax hasn't made any new 1/18 tanks as i know their existing ones are selling well (i was trying to be positive and opptomistic...lol).

This is the reply i got:

"Hello Mr. Ferguson,

I received your email inquiry regarding any new Bravo Team tanks, vehicles and figure that may be coming soon. The answer is I DO believe we will, I dont not have an eta on anything yet or the exact tanks and vehicles we will be able to distribute but I know we will have some new ones, hopefully before the end of the year.

I know that sounds very vague, but in all honesty, I havent heard anything definite on this line yet. Please keep checking our website for updates on all products OR you can check back with me in a few months and hopefully Ill have more concrete information for you.

Thank you,
Maria Ashley

it would be nice to hear from etailers as to how the wwii bravo team line is selling online. Good, bad, or so-so. It would be a strong indicator of what the chances of the line continuing are.

I assume the modern line is doing at least so-so since it keeps coming back, but the wwii line is now sold only online and it is harder to gauge how it's doing. I suspect it's doing somewhere between so-so and good.

Watch it be a Sdkfz 251 or Panther.

Maybe a Tiger II one can only dream.

Or Stryker :D

"Maybe a Tiger II" they'd be nuts not to produce a King Tiger.
Their Tiger I sold well, it filled the void that 21st's didn't....... Zimmerit, early/mid production and non steel road wheels. Oh and the price is right.
A FOV King Tiger would be very cool!

Like a fart, a lot of excitement and build up for a poof that never materializes and is gone in a minute.

Good news indeed. I would put my money on FOV or BBI any day of the week over some of the other vaporware companies.

They could easily do a Stryker. They have the tooling in 1:32 and 1:72, it would fit the modern line which could be sold at Target and therefore at mass retail. They could simplify its production by only making the commander & top hatches open (yes that would suck, but they would do that to save a buck). I want to say they also hinted at a 1:18 Stryker several years ago, though that may have materialized into the 1:32 one...

A King Tiger based on their 1:32 tooling, even with limited features, would be a dream (and a stab at Allgo/21c) but a dream nonetheless.

I haven't bought anything in 1/16 or 1/18 military wise in what, over a year? The recent 1/18 items I bought were AutoArt's Porsche 914.

There was talk they were making a 1:18 Stryker a couple years back, I wonder if it is back in the works.
