Pickel,
you need more side picks of the vertical fin sensors?

So: It seems that the upper part of the rear edge is thicker (more flat than V shaped) as on the BBI modell. It probably houses one more, integrated antenna. There are also two more, smaller frog eyes on the grooved part of the vertical fin. For me, it would be anough with a box and its 2 eyes (same as under the front windshield) to clip on the vertical fin.

Thanks Granch for the close ups. :D

Here are a few pics of the nose sensors.

I have started on the tail sensor area. I will give it about a half of a day tomorrow then I need to get back on back orders.

I made the nose sensors to fill an order that has been in the making for over a year.

I definitely will do a full version of this aircraft.

A little input is needed. Do you guys see the sensors on the side of the tail fin ? The sensor base is integral to the ridges of the tail fin. I am not sure how I will make those. The easiest way is to make them smallish to fit inside of the ridges. The other option is to make the ridges into the part and you guys will have to grind off the area were they are to go.

Input needed on that :D

I think Option 1 is better way to go as well, although not sure I want the tail sensors.
I'm in for a couple sets of the nose sensors though if you end up doing the other parts needed for the DAP version.

When you said you "would do a full version of this aircraft" - is the DAP the one you are talking about?
Looks good so far.

Yes you are correct. There seems to be a lot of interest in the DAP version. When I get closer I will get more feed back as to what you guys want.

I have done the nose sensors as what you see in the pics.

I started to do the tail sensors but have used up my allotted time. ( I needed to get back on my orders )

What I have done is made the trailing edge cap that the sensors will go on. I will also make the antenna mount that will be fixed to the trailing edge cap.

The sensors lower down the tail fin will be problematic if I do not make them smaller to fit in between the fin's ribs.

I do intend to make the chain gun and rocket pod mounts. The .50 cal mounts may be on the list as well.

But I need to finish my back orders, Ho-229, 105 Howitzer, Humvee turret update ..............

Not to mention my Fathers Day project that I am not ready to unveil.

It is piece armor and there was not a lot of interest in it. But I like it. When I get done with my back orders I will unveil it if there is interest in you guys seeing it. :D

Still in for nose and tail sensors. The smaller sensors lower on the tail fin don't interest me, they do not change the overall profile of the fuselage. But the higher ones with their basement do... I would prefer option 2, but still can customize PH custom ( ) if I'm alone against all.

Hey Jon,

No , no updates yet with my real work I have been busy. The spare time I have had I am doing my best to get out back orders.

I still need to finish the lens areas and make the moulds but I need to remake the Indy sidecar moulds first.

Busy busy busy. :D

Man PH, you cease to amaze me with your work. I'm still actively trying too get my hands on both the Army Blackhawk and the Air Force Pavehawk. When I get these you can definitely put me down for a full kit painted with the DAP addition for the Blackhawk and a full kit painted minus the DAP addition. I think the DAP kit is going to be one mean looking SOB
Also are you still doing the kit for the Huey? I believe I saw it here somewhere. If so I would also bee down for that too. Can someone post the link to that if you know were it is.

On a side note speaking of the huey, (before any of the realism police detest my idea) I wonder how that DAP kit would look on my Huey.

I was trying to finish an order today for a guy who has patiently waiingt for the Horten to finish. His parts are almost done, then I looked at his order.

I have not even made the tail sensor moulds

I may just have to make the moulds to fill his order.

But I am way behind to start this.

I need to make :

2 Wirbels
3 T-34/85s
1x 222
3 x more Hortens :|

Will I ever get caught up ?

Here we go, the moulds are made of the crab eye and tail senors. :D

Here they are on the the new Black hawk with matching paint.

How does $15 sound for the crab eyes and tail sensor with $5 shipping unfinished ?
