Wihtout a doubt... I pulled the trigger (no pun) on two sets. Thanks for the link. Even for the extra gear, that's well worth it. I'll probably yank the heads, helmets, packs, guns, etc., and transfer them to other figures... The FOV US bodies were a little less than accurate but I'll hang onto them. With two sets maybe someday down the road I'll make a dirty dozen set of figures.

Did you guys read the reviews on amazon? Listing is for US soldiers everyones getting German soldiers. Still a good deal though

Too bad its for the WWII soldiers. I'm suddenly in need of more modern special Ops figures only after they are all gone from my area

Perhaps if you order German soldiers you'll get Americans.

Oops I purchased without checking the reviews. At that price it is a great deal either way, but I would prefer the US versions.

Germans are even better... The US gear is nice though, but the Germans were better/accurate figures, so I'll gladly take two more sets of those buggers. I'm even happier if that's what they wind up sending. We shall see I guess.

They're back!! Just over $10 shipped for the set.

By now, you would think the seller would update that they're Germans and not US troops.

He has two separate listings. One for the US and one for the Germans. I bought 2 US and 1 German. If it ends up being only German I’ll still be happy but it seems odd that they would have both sets advertised and only be selling the one. Maybe the shipping guy is just grabbing whatever he can find.

I just called them and they (unfortunately) can’t determine what is getting sent out since they do not have the items in stock. They must be shipping out of a warehouse someplace. She did however tell me that they have a great, hassle free return process. Not that I’m going to do that after getting such a great deal but just incase someone else needs to they can be returned.

Do the US figures belong to a particular unit or are they generic?

The FOV US figures are marked as belonging to the 29th Infantry Division. They have the unit's blue and white "yin-yang" insignia and each solider has individual rank insignia. In many ways, I think the tan and OD green coloration on the 21c and BBI WWII figures is better, and those figures were overall better proportioned, but the FOV US figures aren't bad, have great headsculpts, and have great accessories

Mine are in the mail today. Yesterday, I bought a set at $32 and today bought a second set at $7.04.

I wrote the guy and he just responded saying he updates his sale price daily (to me, it looks like hourly increases). Since he ignored part of my message asking him to adjust the first price and just thanked me for my purchase, I intend to return the set at $39 and wait to see if I am getting U.S. figs. If the $7.04 set looks good, I may order more at $7.04 by checking his "daily price changes". I wouldn't even quibble about the $32 price if he just picked a price and stuck with it.

Sounds to me like a messed up method of doing business.

I think it is funny that many of us are actually *wanting* the German, though the reviews on amazon have seriously dinged this guy because people thought they were getting US soldiers.

For the sellers sake, I wish he would just put a disclaimer saying it could be US or German soldiers.

I'm not planning on buying any set at $40, but it I could be as lucky to catch the sale around $20 all-in ... no regrets.

I got an email that my set is on it's way. I'll let you all know what I get when I get 'em.
