Any plans for a 1/18 Hornet re-release from BBI?

Hey guys. I know this summer is going to see the reissue of the F-16 in new colors from BBI, and I was wondering if anyone knows if a Hornet reissue is in the pipeline. I'm hoping the F-16 does well and prompts BBI to issue a new 1/18 Hornet, because the original bunch are extraordinarily expensive and scalpers are all over them on the internet, asking $400+ for a $80 plane. I really can't see paying more than double for an older model, regardless of rarity.

Not exactly scalpers.

Auction prices. If you don't want to pay the going rate, you don't have to bid.

BBI may do the F-18 again, as they had "aggressor" scheme planned.

And lots of desirable, and discontinued diecast models go for many times their original MSRP.

If they do re-release the F/A-18 I sure hope they improve the mold. The Sidewinder missile tip/attachment/etc is terrible, the gear doors need to be separated and hinged to look more like the real Hornet, and do a better job on plugging the screw holes to make them more flush with the body. They got it right on all their other planes, why is the Hornet so atrocious?

Also re-do the tail hook. Looks like the hook end is backwards. This one could not hook the "broad side of a barn."
Arresting gear would slide off, look at the hook end carefully.

it would not surprise me at all to see a reissue in the next year. It's always sold very well every time released. It will not be retooled at all but will probably carry a new livery.
