Bomb loads from Merit arrived today

Just received the long awaited Bomb Loads for the Black Knights F-14 from the convention.
They are outstanding to say the least. I will readily admit that I am not an expert on individual bombs etc, but these are the best I have ever seen.
While they are destined to be used in place of the Resin ones that came with the F-14, I am thinking about just displaying them by themselves. They come with two packages of seperate fins that you need to attach and has two that have the wings that deploy. Lots of moving parts on these.
Those who have ordered the new F-14 will be astounded by the way they look. I do not have a camera that will work on this board,, so someone else will have to post them. You can see what they look like on another thread.
I received a call from (Tony) at Merit this afternoon asking if I had gotten them yet? I knew they were coming as we all did, but was pleasently surprised when he called to say he sent them. Not more than an hour later, they showed up in a USPS package.
Looks to me like Merit/JSI have tried and may have succeeded in raising the board as far as 1:18 goes, and they are trying their best to make things better. I did ask if the pilots and flight deck crews were still on the table and he answered in the affirmative. No dates, or promises, but not a NO.
I know those of you who have this plane on the way will see the great strides made by Merit/JSI since the first spot cat came into being.
Cudo's to Merit.
