Which Vietnam jet do you want more in 1/18 scale?

Okay boys, hands down the 2 most popular planes of vietnam are the F-105D Thunderchief and the F-4 Phantom II with its infinite variants.

Here you have the workhorse, and the legend. If BBI or 21st were to do a vietnam 1/18 scale line of realistic aircraft, of these to which would you want to come out first>?

Good post!
F-4 Phantom II
Hands down, my Vietnam jet of choice.

What about...

I appreciate your poll keeping it simple, but what about two other classics I would love to see:

A-4 Skyhawk
A-6 Intruder

My vote goes to the Phantom, I really like the look of it

An A-7 would be nice.

F-4 PHANTOMS were the plane that proved if you put enough power on a brick it will fly
it was so ugly that it was beautiful
it looked like a committee designed it. tailplane down wingtips up.but it outflew everything in the sky.and still holds its own today almost 50 years after first flight.

F-4 all the way! But an F-105 or F-100 a close second.....not to mention Skyraider an H model please

I LOVE ALL THE PLANES YOU LIST BUT I THINK PHANTOMS WOULD BE ONLY PLANE WITH INTERNATIONAL APPEAL. MAYBE A F-100 A LITTLE BUT AN F-105 WOULD BE ALMOST USA ONLY. I CAN'T THINK OF ANY EXPORTS ON IT.
I BUILT THE TRUMPETER 1/32 F-105 AS LED ZEPPLIN AND IT WAS ALMOST AS BIG AS 21ST 1/18 F-104

Well I basically made this assumption based on the notion that the THUD flew the most missions of the war, with the phantom trailing behind. Thats why i made it a phantom or thud type dig.

I'd love an F-8, A-4, A-6, and A-7. To be honest I like the sader better than the phantom but for the reasons above I left it out of prominence.

Then again who WOULDN'T want the good ol' MIG MASTER and last of the gunfighters?

The F 105 is a cool looking plane. I would love to see an A-7 too. The F-4 is a great plane but it is very common in other scales. I realize there are numerous paint possibilties and I would definitely get at least one.

I know it probably won't happen, but if there was a Vietnam XD aircraft line with the F-4, F-105, F-100, A-4, A-6, and F-8 I'm sure I would pick up at least one of each type. Be nice to get a Mig 17, 19, or 21 to go along with the US planes.

I want an F-105. It looks awesome when its loaded down with bombs.
I would vote for the B-52, but I would'nt be able to afford it or have room for it. :D :D :D

Pistons and leaking oil.

You can't beat the sound of radial piston engines even in Vietnam. Bring on the "Skyraider" which spans the close of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. It was one hell of a workhorse.

F100 and skyraider

F 100 and skyraider seems good marketing choices (first century jet and korean - vietnam skyraider) they are good subjects for many possibles repaints (The french F 100 with shark mouthes looks gOOOOD !!!!!!)

Did I mention that I strongly desire an F-4?

I don't see how, in any stretch of the imagination, this significant aircraft in aviation history can be ignored in 1:18 scale. It just simply has to be produced.

Box size? Forgetaboutit. Even Mike at BBI says that box size is not really an issue for larger models.

Come on, 21st and BBI, how about it? Rob, Matt etal at BCA...what do you say?

I'll second an F-4..........after an A-10 first!

Why doesn't BBI and 21C get together and decide who is make which one,(F4/A10) and then make them at the same time. :) I don't care who makes what, let's just get it going.
