i'm considering a major purchase from them and would like to know if they are reliable to deal with. Anyone have experiences with them?

I buy from them a lot, they are great. the pile of loot feature makes them the shiznit! I order all the time but they don't ship till i call it in which saves on shipping. I call in about 5 times a year when my orders hit around the $500 marker or when some must have in my hands toy arrives and it is usually like $15 shipping.

They're perfectly fine. Most consider them the only equivalent to EE much these days.

thanks guys, i went ahead and ordered. Their shipping was really high, but overall the price was better by about $40 then i could find anywhere else, so i went for it.

ha ha ha....nothing military but it is 1/18 scale. I'm very excited about getting it. Here's a good pic of it.

I guess i should have put this thread in off topic, since it's not military, but i needed a quick answer, so i cheated. RHIP. :)

AFERGUSON:

That's really impressive...and real expensive. If I wasn't spending all my money on planes and tanks, dinosaurs would be second (I have a cool Ymir from 20 MILLION MILES TO EARTH which was included in Sony's Ray Harryhausen dvd set).

i've been collecting 1/18 dinosaur and animal figures as long as i've been in this hobby. Dinosaurs have always been tough to find, especially the larger ones, except for expensive resin kits. When i saw this i knew i had to have it. It's been out of production for a year, so i was glad to find it, despite the high shipping price, as the others i found were even higher...i was sort of in the same boat as people going after 1/18 cobras, lightnings and f-18's.

Edit: looks like i got the last one. I went back to check on something a few minutes later and noticed it now said 'out of stock'. I was holding my breath until i got my shipping confirmation.

There are two more in the series i'm going to get as well. A 32 inch long Spinosaurus and a 44 inch long Apatosaurus (aka brontosaurus).

1:18 ? That must be huge!

That could make an interesting diorama with some figures. Like the land that time forgot kinda thing...or not. It's cool anyways.

Here's an idea for a 1/18 diorama:

thanks for the link JMD but the only one of those i was interested in is the one i bought from BBTS...the others are all too out of scale. It's interesting...there was an Allosaurus/Camarasaurus one ebay recently for starting bid of 99 cents and buy it now of $300. I was licking my chops, figuring i'd be able to get it for a good price...it ended up selling for $380! So the guy who is taking his off to ebay should do well with his.

my allosaurus/camarasaurus diorama arrived today. Very, very nice. Extremely fine detail on both sculpting and paint. Very pleased.

Spot on 1/18 scale too. The bigger, running allosaurus, measures nearly 32 feet long, which matches the largest allosaurus specimen found. Whereas the other allosaurus is a bit smaller and more typical of an average sized allosaur.

And i did indeed get the very last one. They are sold out everywhere else and going for $100+ more on ebay. So thanks for the quick responses initially to my question, all.

:)

sorry for the off topic post.
