I've been notified mine is in the mail. No tracking but it is supposed to be drop shipped from CA. Still looks great. Currently on eBay for $499 w/free shipping. Can't beat that with a stick. The new Sherman from China is around $1,200..... and while that too, looks great, kind of pricey.... the Pz II is a bargain.
Notice the turret interior.... full machine gun and full 20mm gun. Great.

That tank looks fantastic! I don't know how you 1/6 collectors store all your toys. My 1/18 collection already fills up my room.

That's one hell of model, I like it! Dragon did a great job on this, they should do 1:18th Armor.
The size of 1:6th is why I moved to 1:18th scale....I can fit more in my collection.

A 1/6 collection is no more of a "room hog" than 1/18ers that collect mass numbers of planes. I have one medium sized bedroom that is my "toy room/office/pc room". My collection changes every few months and is never static. Right now, I have sold some stuff (one rather nice 1/6 Kettengrad to a member right here). I'm just making overall some room for this Pz II, which should arrive as soon as the roads are clear. My village roads have been cleared but I have a three foot drift across my front door. My maintenance guys don't clear walkways until all streets and driveways are clear. Probably tomorrow.
My "stuff" as of two months ago:

Of course that doesn't count MIB stuff in my garage. Still looking for that spot for my Avenger and a few helo's..... well someday.

Hahaha Santa was delayed getting to TTT's house
Is it fully assembled or "some assembly required" like MG-42's pic's in the first post?.
Pic's would be greatly appreciated TTT.

The Pz II is what has been posted. Major pieces are intact, small pieces pop in, tracks are assembled, you just slide in metal connecting pieces. Only commanders hatch opens. Too bad.
It too me an hour to completely assemble which includes 45 minutes of me opening all the plastic packages (trying to reuse the little packages...... I'm just a cheapo).
I love it. If you want to RC this one, you might not. You will need all new running gear (this is static) but I am sure guys are already working on. Nice detail in this one.
Initial pic, with only the tanker added. I will number this one and add some do-dads.

I like how the tracks are individually linked. The sag makes it look much more realistic.

MD has the PII for $499.99 + $50 shipping.
More good news on this beastie. All the view slots and the engine hatch are spot glued so careful use of a razor can break the glue spots and a tap with a block of wood and shazzam, you have open view slots. Of course there is no engine but can we have everything? The only hatch that is molded into the plastic is the drivers big hatch.

Question from a total Panzer II noob:-
what is the angled rail thingy mounted on the left side fender?.

It's a trough for the ariel to fold down into to protect it when out of use, presumably it was sloped forward at an angle to avoid the side vision port.
The ariel mount is level with the top of the trough on the left side of the fighting compartment
Hope this helps.

Certainly does!
Thanks for the answer Sam.
I have seen the "rail" on the Panzer I (Panzerbefuelwagen sp?) also, now it makes sense.
