You obviously won't get many working features with a wooden model, but esp. for WWI planes with fixed gear, it doesn't seem like you'd be missing much if anything. There's some other near 1/18 if you browse around.

if anyone is interested in stuff like this, i know of a great place to get custom wooden planes made. Excellent work and very reasonable prices. Tell Ricky, that Andrew from Canada recommended them. Very good quality. You won't find custom built wood model planes anywhere cheaper. the only drawback is they can be kinds slow.
