Is there any secret way youse guys get the 21C Stuka to give up it's wings. I'm mailing a few and worrying the wing got only one wing off. Is worrying the wings what it takes to remove the wings???? I just do not want to break any tabs.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The Stuka will not give up its wings willingly. I find the Stuka wings to one of, if not, the most difficult to remove of all the 1/18 aircraft. I can't remember where the tabs are located along the base, but I found just working the wing back and forth from the front to back worked best for me. Hopefully someone here has a good technique they can share.

The 2 tabs in the middle of the wing are the hardest to dislodge. I squeezed down on the middle section and worked the wing back and forth from the front to the back of the plane until they popped out.

You guys are right.
They are the hardest to get off ever.
I get mad and sqeeze the wing root as tight as I can get it and pull for all I 've got. Thinking it is comming off or going to break.
I have yet to break one.
When I am working on one for a mod or what ever I grind the locking tabs just a little so i do not have this problem if I am taking the wing off and on mutlipul times.
Make sure that you hold the fusalage on the side of the wing you are taking off .
Otherwisw you will pull the fuse apart
Don't ask me how I know this

I found that if you take a metal drywall joint/taping knife (about a 6 inch one works best)
& GENTLY push down from the top of the wing joint as your pulling out, the wing will pop right out. It seems to release the top tab.
I sold a few recently & that worked like a charm. Only had one that didn't seem to want to release, so I didn't push it.
Hope this helps!

I didn't use a drywall knife but did use a narrow knife blade slowly moving it up after working the wing end slowly to open a small gap. It worked like a charm and I removed the wings from three Stukas in five minutes with no scratches and no damage at all.
Thanks guys for all the help.
