Was the diecast version of the M48 only sold at Walmart under the Motorworks label? Are the series 2 models in the 21st box plastic or diecast?

I have never seen the Motorworks version. But the two 21st vesions I have are in slightly diferent boxes and different colors and they are both plastic.

There were three variants:
10112 - Series 1 - M48 Main Battle Tank w/ crew and snorkel
99806 - Series 2 - M48 Main Battle Tank - Diecast Hull - Walmart only
99806 - Series 3 - M48 Main Battle Tank - Plastic Hull - Online Retailers

Not sure whether the original one with snorkel had a plastic or diecast hull.

The original one was the TRU exclusive version, part of the first series Vietnam line from 2001. As grunt1 correctly noted, it came with the snorkel and commander figure. The tank was all plastic and (in my opinion) has the best overall paint scheme with the darker, weathered OD green and the painted periscopes/viewports. I picked up the original at TRU and never felt the need to get the others. Decked out with extra crew figures, tank riders, and stowage, it has long been one of my favorite 1:18 tanks

Have all three. The Walmart metal hull is twice as heavy as the others. An obvious weight difference.

So was the walmart version sold in a motorworks box, or a 21st century box?
