Darn, sounds like you got the typical 21c quality control shenanigans going on there :x Its too bad they're out of business because they likely would have sent a replacement part. Good luck in your search!

The Avenger was 21c's crowning piece in terms of size, detail, and ambition, but it was also a QC nightmare. I went through one BH Avenger that had serious paint defects and a couple broken parts, including a missing exhaust tube. The replacement example arrived with a broken prop, but nothing else wrong.

Have you thought about getting a piece of 1/4 inch lexan and making one? It would be alittle work, but with some cutting and alot of polishing I'm sure you could do it ( I've seen some of your custom work ) :D

Go get a toothbrush with a handle of the proper color, and make a new lens. Drill part way into it from the back side to simulate the light bulb inside of it. That is the way we made realistic looking nav lights back in my model building days. Toothbrush handles come in quite a variety of colors, suitable for making colored lenses. Just sand to shape and polish......

Mikey,
That's really awesome to hear. If it is indeed "Lucky Day", then a huge amount of kudos to him for making it right.

And yeah, the TBF is an awesome achievement from 21C. I only have one, the "Atlantic Scheme" and absolutely love it.

Very good to hear. Always good to hear of a etailer with customer service. The same guy lists a auction on a 21C 1/6 RC Humvee for $99 + shipping but I was leery of buying something that big from a etailer in China. I was thinking it may be a prior 21C return and not a leftover product.
