POST BBI CORSAIR FINDS AND DISCUSSION HERE

Post by Black_Dragon_One » Sun Jul 24, 2005 10:06 am

hey guys

start your hunting

BBI Corsair at TRU

I opened mine, it looks good. landing gear is strong but is not 21st century stuff

still great though. same size as the 21st bird with wing flaps

I think I will buy another just for fun.

whats up doc....

some one pm me and i do not know how to get the message

how do i do that on this board

thanks

by the way it is $40.

I love the rockets. the wing hooks. make it really realistic. I love the glas window underneith the seat. that was a nice added feture.

the wheels are strong, but I wish they added the hindge like the 21st one.

any on one can be perfect. also becareful of QC. I bought one and had to return it becuase the nose cowing where you stick to prop in was missing
and one of the let tail was not included. any the pilot looks really good
whats up doc....

The two TRU are closing in my area so I think they may be hard to find now. Its good to know that the BBI Corsair is the same size as the 21st version. If I spot one I will have to pick one up.

Thanks for the info!

Interesting. I thought p51 reported from ComicCon that when he pressed the BBI guys as to when the Corsair would be ready, they hung their heads and mumbled something about it not being ready yet.

Good news, though. Thanks.

I'm hoping that someone will find the WW2 soldiers BBI was supposed to offer other than the paras. :D

Sorry for the double - anyone have the skn# for the Corsair? I never took it down when it was on Amazon and now I think it's gone. Thanks!

I'm going to check at least one more Toys R us tomorrow. I've been to three already with nothing but Mustangs and Kiowas at both of them.

How is the wing folding mechanism compared to XD version of the Corsair? Is it more resiliant?

I just returned from my local TRU in Bellingham and even using the SKN number supplied by another member on this board, they could find no trace of it. They even called a few stores in California with the same results. What gives? Any ideas, other than waiting for BadCat and the higher prices! :?:
