Small Scale Military Headquarters

I posted a while ago about an r/c huey D body that turned out to be a B, so it was a false alarm.

This time it's not. Just under developtment now. It may be a tad large but still very close to 1/18. Cost should be about $80.

edit; length is 31 inches. Huey D fuselage length is 45' 10". So this is about 1/2 an inch too long. Very close to 1/18.

Now that's more like it. The body could be rounded a bit more on the sides, but that's small potatoes. Might want to keep an eye on this one.

i thought the nose was a bit blunt too but it could be that the doors are closed and there are no rotors on it, making it look not quite what i'm used to seeing.

Regardless, it's a reasonable priced, nearly 1/18 huey D and i have been waiting for this for 10 years. Now to track down some old 21c vietnam dudes...

With some tweeking I could make this into 1/18 scale with no problem !!!

well, it's 1/17.7 scale now, so i don't know if it would be worth the effort?
