Small Scale Military Headquarters

I have managed to break one of the pitot tubes on the side of the fuselage. I am wondering if anyone has an idea how to fix it, or if it is possible to get replacement parts. What about molding a new one? I have glued but it didn't hold.

On the F-14 I eventually parted out one of my mine broke. I used krazy glue and it was successful in holding it back on. I had to delicately hold it in place til the glue hardened a little bit and took hold, but it did work.

Thanks Corey. Have you ever tried to mold a part. I may try to glue again and putty the seam.

If it snapped off clean with the fuselage side, there is an easy fix. Take a needle small enough and heat it (hold with small pliers please....duh!!!) and melt it into the stub of the pitot where it attaches to the fuselage. Once cooled, cut all but about 1/4 to 1/8 inch off with wire cutters. Drill a small hole in the fuselage where that pin should be and CA glue in place. It should hold nicely....worked for me.

Did the same thing...It broke off in the middle of the tube, & I super glued it back on - Held it in place for about 30 seconds & actually managed not to glue it to my hand!

Thanks for the replies. Mine broke in the middle as well. I will try the glue and see if it will stay.
