Bell X-1 from SkyWorks Toys

I received my X-1 today from Jack and Tom at SkyWorks toys. All I can say is that it is one of the most fantastic airplane models I have seen. I know that there are many of you on this board that have the wherewithall to take the kit and make it yourself, yet there are others like me, who do not have the modeling skills or have some disabilities that keep them from doing these things. Well guys, I am one of those, a disabled Nam Vet who has had to rely on many on this board to help me with many projects. Upon opening the box this afternoon, I was completely blown out of the water when I saw this bird. Both Jack and Tom did whatever magic they have to make this a Fantastic Creation. All my wonderful wife said when the box came was "not another plane, where are you going to put it?"
Well Gentlemen, she helped me unwrap it and lock the gear down, and said, "I want you to put this on the mantel in the den so everyone can see it." She was as amazed if not more than I when it was put together. I wish I had a camera to show it, but the photos on their website shows it, but it is even more stunning than what they show. For those of you who are on the fence about this bird, Get One. Guy's, I am 70-years-old and really don't need anything now, but this one I DID NEED. Money is not easy to come by for most of us, so I saved from my VA disability to get it, and it is worth every penny and more. Both Jack and Tom's talents are evident in this bird.
I'm sorry if some of you take this as an advertisement for them, but it is my way of thanking them for this model, so please excuse me if I offended anyone on this board.
Thanks for listening guys and Thanks to Jack and Tom, and others too numerous on this board (you know who you are) who have helped me out in the past and will always be there when someone needs help.
Best Regards
JOC
