I got a little done today . I think that I got the rear of the tank done. Now it is time to move toward the front.

Next will be tool boxes, pioneer tools , tow cable ect.

The first pics are without the fuel cells. I think the tanks looks better with out them. There are the guys who want them. You know who you are. 8)

Pics :D

Thanks Normandy,

You have been a big supporter of this project :D

Here it is Christmas eve and I may with fingers crossed have this thing wrapped up !!!

If not on Sunday. Mama Spike would not be happy if I work on this on Christmas Day.

All I have left to do is the horn, tow cable, light and some more details on the galicias.

Then I need to do stuff like cut out the turret hole mount the gun and stuff like that. But I hope to get the full mock up tonight.

So this hopefull can get done for Christmas.

After all this mold making time .

Cross your fingers I am heading to the salt mine / XD factory now.

Thanks guys !!!

I am glad you like it. It sure took a lot of time and effort

Here is a shot of my ppsh-41 . One will come with the model and I will sell them on the side. There seems to be a lot of interest in it . :D

I also am going to rework the figures in the neck socket area.

That way all you have to do is head swap to make them more user friendly.

Thanks guys for all the kind remarks.

The mold making will start on Monday !!!

It will be a little slow in the start because I need to fill orders as this is being done.

If only I could hire Santa's little elves to give me a hand. I think they are laid off right now but nobody answers the phone. :D

After I get under way I will start taking more payments. A few guys have paid up front 100% (THANKS GUYS ).

But if you all want to start making payments now . GO AHEAD !!!!!

I have started making the molds. it took a lot longer to get to the point of making them.

I cut out the turret ring in the hull adapted the turret to it and mount the gun to the turret as well.

I am also addapting the rest of the parts for mold making.

The weather is real cold down here right now and my shop does not have heat.

I am using a couple of those cheesy little heaters so I can feel my hands .

Mrs. Spike is not to cool about me bringing the molds into the house as they cure . But a mans got to do what a mans got to do.

The pouring of resin needs to be done when the weather gets warmer. I had some issues last year with the resin and the 222. Cold weather does not let the resin mix properly . The " B " parts gets real thick and does not mix right with the " A " and you get oily spots . This was a crazy pain and I had to make parts over and over again.

But I hope I have learned my lesson on this and the resin and RTV stays in the house. Again Mrs. Spike is not to hip on this so what ever.

Time to get back at it . The temp is supposed to get to about 60 degrese this weekend . So I hope to get some pouring in then.

HIDEOUS ONE wrote:What is the cost and how long will T-34 be available. I see this as a must have. How much for tanker helmet?

1 tanker's helmet will come with the kit.

The kit will be selling for $300 plus shipping.

With the kit you will get ;

1 x T-34
2 x figures less their heads
1 x bed role
1 x tankers's helmet
1 x Russian steel helmet
1 x Ppsh-41

Work goes on with the molds.

OMG what a lot of work,

If this were one of my regular mods the molds would be done by now. It seems for a full weeks worth of work I have not even started.

For the wheels alone I will be making 6 molds .

For the tracks I will be making 12 molds. This does not count the pre-production molds I made to make copies. So that is 20 molds already. I think that I had 20-30 molds in the 222 and that had close to 100 parts in it

This kit will have about 360+ parts to it. counting track links
