May have been there a while, but I just noticed that Bad Cat is taking preorders for JSI's 1/18 scale P40, due out in September...

If you are referring to the F-14 yes but there Stuka and P-38 were well done. Trust me when I say this but JSI got the message with the F-14 and that wont happen again with there future releasesMitch wrote:Given the track record of all of the manufacturers lately ( no offense to Bad Cat) I wouldn't hold my breath... or preorder either
I WANT MY 1:18 KING TIGER already!!!
This is good news but how do you know they ( JSI ) got the message ?usmcchet9296 wrote:If you are referring to the F-14 yes but there Stuka and P-38 were well done. I talked extensively to the Merit/JSI rep at WOH. I have known him for a while and we talk often at the shows since I was a founder of OSW and a collector of all things scale size. He knows JSI blew it on the paint job of the F-14 and he heard it from many other places besides the boards. He told me that Merit had let JSI know about the complaints this side of the ocean but had also heard closer to home JSI caught alot of flak for the crappy paint job and knows they must not repeat that mistake on any future releases.pickelhaube wrote:This is good news but how do you know they ( JSI ) got the message ?usmcchet9296 wrote: If you are referring to the F-14 yes but there Stuka and P-38 were well done. You can pre-order a "new" version of the F-14 at a German online store... it comes without the spots and is no third-party repaint. At least that's what the offer says.usmcchet9296 wrote:I talked extensively to the Merit/JSI rep at WOH. Yes, indeed. But no trace of the P-40 on their site.fly-dk wrote:I also saw that on the German site..
They also mention a Bf-109 e from JSI coming in August...
can you post a link to the German site?fightin wrote:You can pre-order a "new" version of the F-14 at a German online store... it comes without the spots and is no third-party repaint. Me too. The paint scheme looks cool.pickelhaube wrote:I will get one of those 109 E's.![]()
That is if they ever make it.
Thanks for posting! The 1/18th scale section of that website is like a walk down "memory lane"...I think they show most of the 1/18th aircraft that were ever produced! Doesn't matter if it is in German - Pictures are the universal language!fightin wrote:http://www.warbirdmodelle.de/
