The last of the fully painted orders is done.

Now to jump on the T-34's with both feet.

Crazy K - my hobby shop should have the clear canopy styrene in today so I can pull your Stuka canopy.

The second wave of Horten's will start when I get the T-34 kits out .

All while this is going on I will be working on the other Hanomag covers.

I may put another full build Horten on e-bay to pull in some money.

THEN IT WILL BE KING TIGER TIME !!!!!!!!!

Sravuth your order has shipped.

Lee your crabeye, tail sensor kit has shipped.

Jim your cover has shipped ( finally )

Charlie your cannon is coming home.

Bryan your kuble wind shield has been shipped

Alex I will wait to send you your standard cover with the 3/4 cover.

I am pretty sure that I have all the wheels done for the T-34. The hulls are done and all I think that I have left is the tracks. I hope to get those done this weekend.

The 3/4 Hanomag cover proto is almost done. Then I will make the moulds.

I am almost out of RTV , hopefully I will have enough to make the last Hanomag cover.

Once I get the new RTV , I will make the " C " moulds.

Next the Horten back orders.

Sven I have not forgotten you , my vacuform station shares the same area as my resin pouring station and I have been crazy busy making parts. So just a few more days and I will get your parts and markings out to you.

Remember August is cat month. :D :D :D

T-34/85 kits. Is this everyone ?

I can not wait to see what you do with it :D :D :D

I have my buddy Robbie making one for me. Hopefully he will be done next week and I will have it on hand. Not that I am lazy , I just do not have the time to do stuff for myself. :?

The ambulance cover was a big success. ( on e-bay anyway )

It seems that the standard cover is not as popular as the ambulance. I am hoping that will change .

Hopefully the 3/4 version will be more popular.

Hey Guys,

The last order of T _34/85's just went out .

They have been ready to ship for about a week now but I just did not have the time to go down to the post office.

When I do go to the post office I walk in the door and all of the tellers take off like goats down a crocked path.

This by far is the worst part of doing customs.

Plus I have been getting my boxes from my local pharmacy.

They had theses PERFECT ORMD boxes.

They were PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they no longer have them.

They are switching over to these big plastic recycle bins.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I talked to you through Ebay about the german halftrack covers. You have two different types available now and working on a third? What do you want for the two you have plus shipping? We can work purchases through paypal. What else do you have available for the 21st century 1:18 series? I believe I saw a anti-aircraft top for the german Panzer? I bought the dozer blade for the sherman off you previously. I just joined this site today, didn't know it existed. I am looking forward to being a part of a group who are interested in the same scale military items as I am. Let me know and thanks.

Hello ,

Welcome to the sight !!!

Here is a post of all the stuff I make. http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/view ... 80#p285080

I can combine shipping.

There are a few things that are discontinued ( moulds are shot ) but in due time I will remake them.

If I ever get caught up.

Paypal is fine and I can list anything on e-bay if you like.

The reason I don't list too many things on e-bay is because I DO NOT HAVE ANY STOCK.

That means when I do get an order I have to make it . That leads to a 3 week or so back log MINIMUM.

I have to make a few Hortens . There has been about 6 weeks of waiting for my newest orders . One guy who ordered a kit has been waiting for about 4 months

Fear not guys the Hortens will start this weekend.

I got the resin in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The parts are all made . For your order and all of the other crab eye / tail sensor orders.

Next thing is to start start the painting process .

Usually they need 2-3 coats of primer ( with sanding between ) to get ready for the final paint.

Hey Ron, here you go.

On average the crab eye, tail sensors take 8-10 hours to finish .

That being the case I work on them as I can in between building prototypes , sanding , painting , casting and moulding .

The fuel boom takes about 5 hours itself to build and paint.

I fully paint my parts as a service , believe me it is not profitable for me to do this service especially $15 for 8-10 hours worth of work.

It is hard to say when your order will be done , there is no way that I can shut everything down for a full day in order to make $15 .

To date I have filled every single order that I have had.

Some taking a few days to some taking OVER A YEAR !!!!!!

Things happen, I run out of resin or RTV my real job intercedes or acts of nature .

Painting and finish parts takes huge amounts of time , time that I do not have.

But I fit them in as best as I can .

The other option is just to not finish or paint my kits .

I do not think that this is a option for my hundreds of other loyal customers.

Yes hundreds , I have sold over 150 Pavehawk kits alone.

So please be a little more patient and your order will be filled .

Hi PH. Thanks for the heads up. Didn't fully realise how much work goes into one of these resin sets. And this is my first time getting a resin set that wasn't already boxed. Sure, I'll be patient. All the best. :-)

This is a non update.

This whole week and most of last week I have been busy with my regular job.

So a lot of NOTHING has been done on everything.

Also this is my son's last week before he goes back to school on Saturday and I would like to spend some time with him before he goes back.

He will be a senior at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angles CA :D :D

I will pick back up on EVERYTHING starting on Sunday.

I will do my best to get done with all the Pave Hawk parts as well as the Hortens .

I really want to get done with those because as you all know August is Tiger month.

Yes I have started the Panther moulds ( but there there is less interest now than when I started )

Hey Guys,

This could be my last post for a while.

We are going back home today and the power is still down !!

The thought of going home to no ac sucks !!!!!
I do not know if I will be able to work in the shop until I get home,

I could take everything out side t
so i can use the sun for light but being outside with no fan mid 90's for temp and humidity sounds like no fun.

But I will give it a try.

Obviously I can use no power tools but I think can pour and hopefully paint ( using rattle cans )

If any one needs to contact me Grilled Cheese ( Jeffery ) will have my cell #.

That is still working.
Hopefully power will be back on but for Katrina it took a MONTH !!!!!!!

So that is what is going on for now.

This means one thing August may not be Tiger month.

I am typeing this with no glasses and no spell check so be kind.

Thanks Guys,

Well I am back and the electricity is back on !!

2 days of unbearable misery were to be had with a 105 heat index for those 2 days without power.

It was so hot that when you took a shower you felt the same coming out of the shower the same way you went in , clammy.

It was so hot that during the night I sweated so much that the sweat pooled inside of my ears.

MISERABLE

I spent 2 full days cleaning the yard and getting branches off of my roof. I have a 100 year old live oak in my front yard.

I also have damage this time . Katrina I got off lightly.

My rear screened in porch collapsed. I have water damage in my back bathroom. My front porch took a branch through it and the ceiling is buckling under it .

I also have a 20 foot crack down the center of my house in the ceiling.

The insurance adjuster will be here at 9:30 tomorrow and we will see what my 15+ years of insurance payments are going to get me.

The lights are on the A C 's are humming and hopefully I will get back to XD business tomorrow or Tuesday.

I thank God to at least have a home to go back to , because there are many who do not.

I think that if I have to go through this again , I may say fare well to New Orleans.

Matthew, glad you and your family are well and still have a roof over your head...no hurry on the Panther skirts, when you get to them you get to them. Hope the insurance company comes through for ya.
