4th of July and no signs of new stuff!

Post by 75th Ranger » Sun Jul 03, 2005 2:03 am

4th of July and no signs of new stuff!
other than the Red dvils plane, which price makes it a little bit hard for some to afford, there is nothing to indicate new stuff around!
it would have been a great time to release the WWII figures, or to make a Wal-Mart 4th of July 21st sale! to celebrate our heros!....anyways, I guess i'm not their marketing rep...but i sure would do things different if i were in their shoes...to include generating more sales...hahhaa!

Well, happy 4th of July and make sure you guys watch out for all those flying rockets!...

I just want to wish everyone here a safe and happy 4th.

Yes its sad that nothing new has come out but thats the way it goes I guess. We are all at the mercy of the manufactures that being BBI and 21st.

Here are some new things out this week..

Corgi Fw-190A
(2) Corgi P-40s
Corgi RAF Wellington
Dragon T-34

among others..

And I just picked up Gerhard Barkhorns Bf-109G6 in 1/32 a few weeks ago.. It is FANTASTIC!!!!!! :D

Happy 4th everyone, be safe. I find myself more and more to be losing interest in 1:18. It's tough to keep my interest when releases are so few and far between. I am leaning toward 1:32....

Dont waste your time..lol I've been trying to convert Aferg for a while, hes not budging.

Picked up a couple T-34's as well, and a few new Dragon F-18F's and F-4UID Corsairs. Thank god for Dragon/Unimax/Corgi/Minichamps, as 1:18 is running pretty dry these days. :)

perhaps there is a sign (at least) of some new stuff...

check out smallblueplanet, there's a couple of new item listings, although no new pictures. mostly repaints though, but sounds interesting.

guess we'll have to give it some time for the pics, but what else is new?

happy fourth all!

New stuff is coming

Slowly but surely we brave 1:18 collectors are going to have our day in the sun. Those two listings look promising. However, I definitely wouldn't preorder either a new P-47 or P-51 and agree to pay $59.95. Those planes will almost certainly be cheaper when released.

OK--i say the posting for the Nude Nose art pieces sounds very promising. When they strated doing the cartoon characters years ago, I knew a Varga girls couldn't be too far behind. And, it looks like 21st will be producing the Liebestandarte figures they had talked about 3 or so years ago at a toy fair. This shall prove interesting.

Don't expect them to be at WM b/c I'm willing to bet they won't be. I doubt anyone will have them for any less than $50....
I just wouldn't pre-order from SBP b/c one reason to do so is to get the pieces ASAP, and they are ALMOST ALWAYS LAST to get anything for some strange reason
