Small Scale Military Headquarters

This is far from done but I wanted to let you guy's see what I had in mind...cutting open the doors was a big job,,,took about 3 hours total...

you need to score around the frame until you get through then use a #11 blade and gently cut around the door. Once both doors were off I took the back of the pilot seats and wall off...as I said I will be adding a floor, bench seat in the rear and fix the pilot/copilot seats...tomd

Very cool! I wonder if a hot exacto knife would help cut faster?

I don't have one now but I have used the hot knife before,, there is some melting build-up as you cut,,,,I had more control with the scoring tool. If you are not familiar with it I got it from micro mark tools...it works great on plastic.

Nice job, thanks for the info on the scoring tool. Is there much of a learning curve for the tool to do it properly?

thank's for the comments,, Yes I like BBI, dont get me wrong,,,but whoever is approving and marrketing the final version is off ...same with the blackhawk,,, we all wanted the door gunners or the ability to open the doors and add miniguns...I did it my self but would have bought at least two or three to get the versions shown in the Movie BHD, also we want a Huey long cab with mounted M60 door gunners,,,UH1D,,century 21 keeps selling the same bird with different paint....we cannot even get more than three or four troopers in..I made one myself with lots of cutting and I used two birds to get one...Is anyone listening?????
