i've been storing xd stuff out on my balcony for years. Winters here are bitter cold and summers routinely in the 90's. I also face west and have had the sun blazing on them day after day.
Zero problems, zero warping, discolouration etc.
The only minor problem has been with small punctures happening to the garbage bags they are stored in, leading to water getting in. Even that doesn't hurt the models, i've had some soaked literally for years and others incased in ice all winter, unknowingly. The only thing that does happen is the boxes get wrecked. If you're storing them inside shelter then you should have no worries.

I have stored mine in my barn for several years, other than the dust they have done OK. I recently covered them in plastic and hopefully this will keep them cleaner. No trouble as far as the models go some boxes not holding up quite as well due to heat/humidity.

I store the majority of my planes and tanks in my attic. In fact, I have more XD planes hanging in a sort of "storage display" in my attic than I do in my house. Some of my items (like my boxed S1 P-51 and ME-109) have been up in the attic for years with no ill side effects to the paint or plastic, save a little dust.
The weather in central California's San Joaquin Valley frequently exceeds 100 degrees during the summer and is in the 30s and 40s during the coldest part of the winter. Temperatures in my attic, which is not insulated, can rise to over 120 degrees during the summer.
Again, I have had not ill effects on my products, particularly the 21c ones with their hard ABS plastics. Some warpage occurs on the soft plastic fins of some of my BBI items, particularly the helicopter blades on the Apache and Blackhawk, if not stored correctly. A little soak in warm water fixes those issues, however.
