Pleas only your if you are thinking about getting one.
If you are thinking about getting the JSI J-11
Will you pre order, Or wait for an evaluation from a fellow board member.
If no state your reason, and what would make you change your mind to placing a pre order.

I voted no cause I wanted to wait and see if JSI has addressed its quality control issues.
I do want one, but I don't want to be stuck with a lemon with no recourse, and left hanging.

Yes, I'm interested in the Sukhoi, when it gets a single seat and Russian markings.

Second.
Russian fighter without a legitimate Russian scheme? Unthinkable.
Fool me once on Daimatian Cat, shame you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I will by one, but not pre-order. My pre-order cost me $50 more than if I would have waited. It is not that important for me to get it that fast.

Since it would be a new release...I voted yes. I will preorder one to support the cause.
*Other members are correct though, usually it's cheaper to wait ie...F-14
although I did get one of the Limited Edition Lights On Spotcats.

I'm nervous... I think I would need an accurate review of the moving parts and their ability to hold up first. Paint- well I really don't care if it's pink or spotted or whatever. I going to paint a classic Russian scheme on mine! Good bye J-11! Hello SU-27

I'll get one. Really looking forward to it.
Sure, JSI cranked up on that F-14 paint job, but hey, we all make mistakes. It doesn't bother me that much.
I only hope for sturdier landing gear.

After the F-14 fiasco,I will not pre-order the JS-11,or the F-15.
I will wait for proper reviews from non biased collectors.
I am also not willing to get a repaint done on a model that costs this much.
If JSI has not learned from the Tomcat,we may be in for more disappointment.
I sincerely hope not,as I really want both of these models.

That's the other thing - you don't save with a pre-order! The planes don't sell out right away, so there is no advantage to pre-ordering.

bottom line Aferg in another post said his F-18 nose dived and bounced a few times making the fall - and the F-14 would most likely shatter.
As much as I want a F-14 Ill wait for prices to go down at WM.
Just too much money for me to justify getting a really cool toy/model that I want.

Good point about this pre-order business. I can remember reading many of the online retailers saying how you had better get the JSI F-14 before they sell out. Now those are still out there, and will be for some time.

I'll wait for my local hobbyshop to get them. It worked out well with the F-14 - I got a very nice example of one of those that still hasn't broken on me

I likely will buy it when, and if, it is produced, but no preorder...I haven't preordered Passion Wagon either, but I intend to get that one as well...
In today's market, speaking as a consumer, I don't believe it is neccesary to preorder one of these planes (exception would be ultra limited edition like the lighted Spotcat)...However, I understand why the etailers want your committment to help with their ordering, but the "Spotcat" pretty well took care of that issue!
In my opinion, put out a quality product of a desirable aircraft with the right paint scheme at a reasonable price (what the market will support) and it will sell itself.
