I have a Me-109 that has no screw attaching the wing to the body. Anybody know what the size screw is required.

I can't believe 21C used different sizes so am I correct in guessing that all 21c model planes would be the same size screw?

And what would be the size. Looks like 7/64 wide but how long? and what thread would I be looking for? and where?

Triple T, which 109 do you have? I'll check mine if I have the same model.

Sorry - I'm talking about a 1/18 Me-109, the early version with the number 12 on the fuselage. .

Any help would be appreciated.

Triple T here you go! The screws circled in yellow are the same as the one you are missing. I would just take one to the local hardware and get a matching one.

Snakes:

I'll try that. Thanks for the help. I just can't believe 21C would have all different size screws so I'll try that.

My friendly Lowes had machine screws so close as not being distinguished from the 21C screw except for the head, being slotted instead of Phillips. I'm sure is you look, you can find a Phillips also. I was just so happy to find a identical size to what I needed.

If anybody is in a similar situation, the replacement is: 4-40x 1/2.

Comes in packs of 14 pcs with nuts.

The three Me-109's that came to me in a bulk buy all were hung from a cieling and ALL THREE HAD NO SCREW holding the wing to the fuselage. Amazing they didn't come down..... and one was a Spanish...... oh the tragedy.
