1/18.5 scale to be exact. It's a boeing 737-700. Why is this in a military forum you ask?
Because the new navy P-8 poseiden asw is based on the 737-700. As well there are other military applicatons.

oopsy, i'm wrong. The Poseiden is based on the 737-800 but with -900 wings. It's the C-40 Clipper that's based on the -700, a navy and airforce transport for high ranking officials and critical cargo.
Oh well, were i to get one i'd probably just use it as an airliner.

This would be too cool in 1:18 scale. If someone here in the forums would offer paint services for this, I will buy one. Too bad they are not painted

We get about 2 of these threads a week announcing "Coming Soon" RC birds in various scales. If someone, anyone, has added one of these to their static model collection and could post some pictures, I think it would be inspiring for those of us who wonder if all these threads should be Off Topic.

lol. So i guess 1/16 r/c tanks should be off topic too......in fact all r/c tanks for that matter, even any 1/18 ones? Certainly 1/12 atomic bombs.
They're all close cousins to this hobby and since there ain't much to talk about in this hobby, unless you want some more JSI Tomcat threads, i don't see a problem. If things were cookin' in 1/18 i might agree with you, digs.
----------------
it will come white, unpainted, most probably with stickers that you can use to make it look like a generic airliner. More than that you'd have to do on your own.
It's 1/18.3 scale, so extremely close. Will be about 6 feet by 6 feet.
The 737 AWACs plane is another interesting military application for this model:

Ive posted pics of my RC F-117 with my 1:18 scale collection before. Too lazy to try and go back and find them.

All I want to happen is "RC" in the title right before the plane, that way I don't get my hopes way up for a standard non- RC model. Just a suggestion aferg. I am interested in some of these RC models, especially the B17, but I just need to know it's RC before I go crazy. Thanks man

Cool - I will track them down.
Aferg now that you mention it, there are FOUR Tomcat Stickys clogging the top of the forum. With 2 or 3 of your RC threads a week, stuff does get pushed down quickly like the brand new figures that are coming out in 1/18 scale. Maybe change one sticky just for your RC finds. I don't think we still need four Sticky Tomcat threads.
