just found this on ebay. A tad short and a tad too spany but overall pretty close to 1/18.

I have little doubt they can be found for much cheaper than this in time...

"French ace Pierre Clostermann claimed the first Allied combat encounter with a Pfeil in April 1945.[2][page needed] Leading a flight of four Hawker Tempests from No. 3 Squadron RAF over northern Germany, he intercepted a lone Do 335 flying at maximum speed at treetop level. Detecting the British aircraft, the German pilot reversed course to evade. Despite the Tempest's considerable speed, the RAF fighters were not able to catch up or even get into firing position"

i dont think so; it may just be the angle of the one pictue. If you look at the ovehead shots the nose looks right. The cowl doesn't quite flare enough, which may make the nose look longer and the dinky prop probably does as well.

I have a hunch the underside is green, so would need to be painted a light blue grey, which is not a huge deal. Use some left over 262 swastikas.

false alarm. It appears the quoted dimensions in the auction are incorrect and that this plane is actually 37 inches by 37 inches, making it about 1/15 scale.
