Restoring old clear plastic

I don't know if this is the right section for this question -- my apologies if it isn't.
I'm working on some kitbashing using old toys -- almost 20 years old. Most of the clear plastic on these toys has become cloudy and/or yellowed, and also is pretty scratched up. Any tips to try to restore it?

I have used the Meguiar's clear plastic polish on my vintage GI Joe toys with success. You can buy it at Walmart.

On cloudy/opaque canopies, I use Future floor polish. Just dip the part in a small bowl of Future, wick off the excess and let it dry. The beautiful thing about Future is that it is self-levelling meaning it evens itself out as it dries and if you get a run, just dip/rub the part in Windex and the Windex will take the Future right off.

I use rubbing compound for car finishes, best stuff is Ultimate compound by meguares. Just buff to perfect sheen. Then throw on a coat of micro wax on it. I was a detailer for a number of years and know a lot of tricks
