So, how long until TT copies come with forged CoA, now that everyone knows what they look like...

Good point. Gone now. Guess I just don't think that way.

Go fast any chance you have your TT. There's one forsale on eBay but still doesn't have the full nose art and name. Still like to get my hands on one of these.

Well I really have no idea on market value so I wouldn't want to insult you. There is one on eBay but it doesn't have his name on it. Apparently it was not a contest one. It was from when the company went under. It's tough for me because it's not about collectibility you know, but his name on it is big you know.

The one on Ebay is a "Shell" Tender Terror plane. I still have 1-2 of these shells in boxes myself. There were not very many of them as they were the left over extras that Roy Sutherland would use to complete a contest TT.

So the markings that are there are Tampo pad print from china. The nose art piece and remaining markings were professional model decals that Roy would apply by hand to finish the plane. The Shells are valuable if you are collecting and must have one. I don't recall the exact number of shells that existed but it was very few (less than a dozen) left over from the contest.

Hope that helps you in making a decision.

I was thinking about bidding on it, but not having his name on it kind of defeats the purpose. It's still my grandfathers plane none the less. The lady on the front is my grandmother. I just wish these darn things were standard issue so I could just buy one.

I was the one that got it.
It is scheduled to arrive today.
By the photos it looks like the canopy is a bit off kilter and the pilots legs are loose.
Any problem if I open one end and re-align at least the canopy?
